Mehndi Slab Necklace

Orange mehndi (henna tattoo) design silkscreened onto a big piece of opaque lavender glass which is then layered under clear glass and fused - the image is sandwiched in the middle. After it's annealed and cooled, I handcut the individual pendants on a diamond saw into teardrop shapes, then put them back into the kiln to fire polish the edges.

Tiny holes are drilled for the sterling silver jump rings, then it's hung from a 1.5mm sterling silver 'rolo' chain to which I've attached 2" of adjustable links at the end to assure you can wear it different necklines (image below). Please choose from a 14-16" or 16-18" adjustable chain when ordering.

Pendant measures approximately 1 1/4" w by 1 3/4" tall, and is 1/4" thick, making it a more durable piece with more depth than my single-layer 'disc' pendants.

Please note that these pendants are handcut from one large design, and individual patterns, shapes and sizes will vary slightly.
